Chickens are very good at this. Especially when they know that there is something tasty on the other side of the door (or think there is). Thus this morning at 0600 hrs when the OH went out to open the door to the Cube the chickens practically tumbled out and down the steps since they had already heard him putting the feeding stations out.
They also do this with the kitchen door and have actually learned how to knock on the door with their beaks when they know that you are in there. It sounds quite polite and quiet from a human point of view but I'm pretty sure that they are banging on that door really hard!
There was no bloodbath this morning. I am keeping everything crossed that this is the start of true love between all the girls ....
