It would seem that she can. She might have difficulty getting on and off them (she tells us that they are 'quite big') but she has achieved walking, turning and trotting in her first lesson - including a rising trot without holding onto the saddle for dear life. Of course to us chickens, this means very little but we are sure that it will mean something to those who follow this blog who know something about horses. She is very much looking forward to her next lesson on Prima who is a very nice horse. We did want to put a picture of the horse here but could not copy it from the website so you will have to look for yourself:

We hope that she doesn't suddenly want a horse instead of chickens. We don't think that the garden would really be big enough, so we are safe for now ...
